Accuracy Package PRO

The Enhanced Performance Package involves ensuring nearly every part of your pistol is modified and tuned to our desired specifications and tolerances. These modifications and enhancements ensure that all parts are interfacing correctly with each other, enhancing your pistol's ability to perform at a level normally only seen in custom pistols built to the same exacting standards. This package sets the gun up to reap the most benefits possible from the Accuracy Package by ensuring that each of the parts of the pistol work in conjunction with each other correctly to create a consistent and repeatable operation of the pistol prior to moving on to Accuracy specific enhancements. CONSISTANCY BREEDS ACCURACY!

More often than not all of these enhancements can be performed without having to completely refinish the pistol.

The Enhanced Performance Package includes the following: 

  Frame work

· Stone the existing sear primary measurement to the correct length (if possible).

· Stone the existing sear secondary measurement to the correct length (if possible).

· Modify the existing disconnector measurement to the correct length (if possible).

· Polish the existing hammer strut tip

· Modify the existing hammer strut if necessary, so that it is not “stacking”.

· Adjust the trigger weight to desired poundage.

· Check, adjust set trigger pre-travel.

· Check, adjust and set trigger over-travel. All triggers are set and sent out at no less than 3lbs for carry, duty or personal defense use. An additional sear spring can be tuned and set to less than 3lbs for range use and installed at the clients discretion for an upcharge of $75.00.

· Ensure the thumb safety and sear interface is working as intended.

· Ensure the thumb safety detent and plunger are positively engaging properly.

· Modify the top of non-ejection port side thumb safety for slide clearance.

· Inspect and modify if necessary, the connection point on ambi thumbs safeties to aid in 

  disassembly.

· Bevel existing slide stop to prevent burrs on the slide.

· Reshape the existing slide stop nose to aid in assembly.

· Modify the grip safety so it positively engages trigger bow, but releases with minimal   

  depression.

· Ensure the hammer strut is not rubbing on grip safety and correct if necessary.

· Re-shape the existing ejector to proper length and angles

· Re-shape the existing ejector to ensure the top round in the magazine is not hitting the ejector.

· De-burr the existing magazine catch nose and shelf.

· Ensure magazine catch is positively securing magazines yet allows them to drop free when 

  depressed.

· Modify the Magazine catch to aid in magazine insertion.

· De-burr and dress the existing magazine catch lock.

· Modify the mag catch lock slot on the magazine catch. 

· Dress inside and outside of both ends on the magazine catch lock spring.

· Modify the plunger spring to aid in dis-assembly.

· Reshape the existing main spring cap pin.

· Install new optimal weight Main Spring if necessary.

· Dress inside and outside of both ends on the main spring.

Slide work

· Machine the disconnector rail with Marvel Disconnector cut.

· Sand and polish disconnector rail.

· Clean and polish disconnector scallop.

· Cleaned and polish Marvel Disconnector cut.

· Machine magazine feed lip clearance cuts on the Disconnector rail (2011 style pistols only)

· Re-shape, tune and set the existing extractor tension.

· Inspect the existing firing pin for damage and replace if necessary.

· Remove any burrs caused by slide stop on slide.

· Break sharp edge at J cut to remove and prevent burring.

· Modify guide rod head for smooth operation.

· De-burr and soften edges on the existing guide rod.

· Bevel inside leading edge of the existing guide rod plug.

· install new optimal weight recoil spring if necessary.

· Radius the front edge of the forward barrel lug.

· Modify the bottom of the existing barrel feed ramp so it does not interfere with top round in     

  magazine or hang over into the magazine well.

· Polish the existing barrel feed ramp.

· Finish ream the existing barrel chamber.

· Polish the existing barrel chamber.

The Enhanced Performance Package is 975.00 + shipping and handling

The Enhanced Performance PLUS packaged includes all items in the standard Enhanced Performance package PLUS the purchase and instillation of The Charyn Optic Plate. The COP was designed by David Charyn of Charyn Precision and produced by Eleven 71 designs exclusively for Charyn Precision and Mercier Pistol Pistol Works. It is one of the lowest most robust and secure plates on the market designed specifically for the 1911/2011 platform. Each slide is cut to ensure the specific COP mounts low and tightly to the slide, ensuring there is no shifting in the plate. The COP is made of Titanium with a fixed rear BUIS providing for a small footprint with strong dependable sight. The plate design is designed with the flexibility to allow you to decide if you want no Back up iron sight, just a rear BUIS behind the optic or a front and rear BUIS in front or and behind the optic body. Each plate is PVD coated. Package cost does NOT include re-coating the entire slide to coat under the plate where bare metal is exposed during the machining process.

The cost for the Enhanced Performance PLUS  is 1475.00 + shipping and handling.

All new ignition parts along with a new flat, uncoated and blasted Everglades Ammunition trigger (in 2011 style pistols) are all fit, polished and tuned to give an exceptional feeling trigger with minimal to zero unnecessary up and down movement in the trigger shoe and bow. Trigger roll and weight can be set to your desired preferences.

Additional options include;

-Bare blasted aluminum

-PVD coated trigger for an additional $60.00 (colors listed below)

The Complete Custom Trigger job starts at 575.00 + shipping and handling. 

If you decide that you want to know how your pistol stacks up and what it truly needs before your pistol is worked on, Eric can inspect and evaluate your pistol to determine what the gun needs to meet the your goals for the pistol. Each gun is measured in all critical areas and each part is inspected for any damage and tuning that would be beneficial to the performance of the gun. 

The Inspection and Evaluation fee is 200 + shipping and handling. If a customer opts for $1000 or more of work the $200 fee is applied to the final bill. 

The evaluation is NOT mandatory,  you can simply send your gun in for the work you desire.

The Marvel Disconnector cut provides a smooth transition for the disconnector to move onto and along the disconnector rail while the slide goes into battery. It prevents the slide from "stalling" on the disconnector and saves the disconnector head from being beat up which can eventually degrade the feel of your trigger. Both the slide and disconnector head are modified, every gun benefits from this modification.
